  The sixteenth photo in the album is Harold Daniel McEwen, son of Clara Addie Coe, nephew of Elizabeth Ann Coe.  Harold Daniel McEwen was born on 27 May1892 in Wichita, Sedgewick, Kansas, the son of  James Daniel McEwen  (1861-1901) and Clara Addie Coe (1864-1950).  He married Evelyn M. Rorabaugh (1896-1972) on 12 November 1921 in Wichita. They had one daughter, Joanne (1923-2011).  Harold lived in Wichita until sometime between 1921-1928. At various times he worked as and Agent for AVI RY, the manager of the Le Roy Hotel (owned by his mother), and a bookeeper at Steffen Bretch Ice and Ice Cream, Co. By 1928, he was living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, working as a dry goods merchant. By 1935, he was in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas where he worked as merchandiser for a department store. At the time of his death in Dalla in 1963, he worked at E.F. Hutton in Securities and Investments.  This photograph likely dates from about 1894.  ...

  The fifteenth photo in the album is Clara Evelyn Coe, daughter of Ezra Frank Coe, niece of Elizabeth Ann Coe.  Clara Evelyn Coe was born on 30 December 1886 in Hiawatha, Brown County, Kansas, the daughter of Ezra Frank Coe (1853-1942) and Sarah Frances Ward (1856-1942).  She married Ward Coe Bryant (1881-1975), son of Frank E. Bryant (1858-1944) and Eva S. Coe (1860-1949) on 30 August 1906 at the home of her grandparents Albert Coe and Deborah Prentice in Le Roy, Genesee County, New York.   The fourteenth photo in the album is Charles Arthur Call, son of Charles Joslin Call and Elizabeth Ann Coe.  Charles Arthur Call was born on 8 October 1885 in Stafford, Genesee County, New York, the son of Charles Joslin Call (1859-1939) and Elizabeth Ann Coe (1862-1956). He was known as Arthur or C. Arthur Call.  He married Bertha May Hotchkiss (1882-1946), daughter of Horatio Nelson Hotchkiss (1855-1938) and Carrie Adell VanName (1861-1944) on 28 July 1909 in Gainesville, Wyoming County, New York. Arthur and Bertha had five children: Helen Elizabeth (1910-1997), Mildred (1911-1911), Marian Alberta (1911-2000), Robert Olin (1919-2000) and Edith Adelle (1921-2006).  Arthur and his family lived in a number of places over the years. In 1910, they lived in Schenectady, Schenectady County, New York, where he worked as an electrical engineer. By 1916, they were living in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. In 1919, they lived in Glen Ridge, Essex County, New Jersey....

  The thirteenth photo in the album is of Frank Lincoln Walkley (1867-1961), and his son Albert Coe Walkley (1896-1983), Elizabeth Coe's brother-in-law and his second son.   Frank Lincoln Walkley was born on 9 June 1867 in Pavilion, Genesee County, New York, the son of Rosman L Walkley (1838-1930) and Maryetta Peck (1843-1922).  He married Carrie Evelyn Coe (1864-1948), daughter of Albert Coe (1827-1907) and Deborah Prentice (1833-1910) on 21 June 1894 in Le Roy, Genesee County.  Frank and Carrie Walkley had five children: Fred Rosman (1895-1981), Albert Coe (1896-1983), Clarence Williard (1898-1983), Floyd Frank (1900-1981) and James Harry (1903-1985).  The Walkley family lived in Le Roy their entire married lives, where Frank was a farmer. Carrie died in Le Roy on 5 August 1948. Frank died in Wyoming County, New York on 13 July 1961. They are both buried in Machpelah Cemetery in Le Roy.   The twelfth photo in the album is of Carrie Evelyn Coe Walkely and her son Fred Rosman Walkley, Elizabeth Coe's sister and her oldest son.  Carrie Evelyn Coe and her twin sister Clara Addie Coe were born on 10 November 1864 in Pavilion, Genesee County, New York to Albert Coe (1827-1907) and Deborah Prentice (1833-1910).  Carrie married Frank Lincoln Walkley  (1867-1961), son of Rosman L Walkley (1838-1930) and Maryetta Peck (1843-1922) on 21 June 1894 in Le Roy, Genesee County. Carrie and her husband had five sons, Fred Rosman (1895-1981), Albert Coe (1896--1983), Clarence Willard (1898-1983), Floyd Frank (1900-1981) and James Harry (1903-1985).  They lived in Le Roy until Carrie's death on 5 August 1948. The eleventh photo in the album is of James Daniel McEwen (1861-1901), Elizabeth Coe's brother-in-law. James Daniel McEwen was born on 7 February 1861 in Le Roy, Genesee County, New York, the son of Donald McEwen (1819-1911) and Hannah Heagle (1833-1923). He married Clara Addie Coe (1864-1950), daughter of Albert Coe (1827-1907) and Deborah Prentice (1833-1910) on 29 October 1890 in Le Roy, Genesee County.  James McEwen settled in Wichita, Sedgewick, Kansas in about 1889. By 1891, he was the owner of J.D. McEwen & Co., Commission Merchants. Starting in 1894, his business was focused on wholesale fruit and produce.  James and Clara McEwen had two sons, Harold Daniel (1892-1963) and John Donald (1897-1984).  James McEwen died in Wichita on 4 August 1901.  14 Aug 1901, Wed The Wichita Eagle (Wichita, Kansas) Newspapers.com James' widow, Clara Addie Coe McEwen, remained in Wichita for the rest of her life.   The tenth photo in the album is of Carrie Prentice (1866-1945), Elizabeth Coe's first cousin.   Carrie Prentice was born in April 1866 in Pennsylvania, most likely in Pike or Le Raysville, Bradford County, where her father Martin S. Prentice (1837-1925) lived from at least 1863-1901. Her mother was Martha Ann Ford (1835-1883).  She married Charles H. Benham (1861-1916) in 1884, likely in Le Raysville. He was the son of James Benham and Eliza. Charles and Carrie Benham had two children: Jay M. (1886-1887) and Frederick M. (1889-1973).  The Benham's lived in Pike, Bradford County, Pennsylvania through at least 1900, when Charles' occupation was listed as teamster. Sometime between 1907 and 1909, they moved to New York. By 1910, they lived in  Nichols, Tioga County, New York, when both Carrie's husband Charles and their son Fred were employed at a cabinet factory. Bernice Adelia Loomis was born on 17 July 1874 in Lenox, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Sidney Eldad Loomis and Emma Jennett Oakley. She married Samuel D. Squire on 4 March 1896. She died 15 February 1969 in Laguna Hills, Orange County, California. On her marriage license, Bernice's occupation was listed as a teacher - so I wonder if she met Mary Jane at  Bloomsburg Literary Institute and State Normal School.    July 28 Frances M.
