Early 1900s Call Album - Page 6
Sometime in about 1904, someone in my grandmother Evelyn Clara Call's (1895-1962) family started taking photographs and placing them in an album. My grandmother was nine in 1904, so she could have been the photographer. Or it could have been one of her parents Charles Joslin Call (1859-1939) or Elizabeth Ann (Coe) Call (1861-1956). Most of the early photographs are of family gatherings and places someone visited. I believe by about 1911, my grandmother was taking the photographs. There are photos of her classmates at Batavia High School and groups of teenage girls.
The Call family live in Stafford, Genesee County, New York. They had a cottage at Silver Lake in Wyoming County. So many of the photos were taken in these locations.
Most of the photos on this page are group photos of Albert Coe and Deborah Prentice's family (Elizabeth Ann's parents).

Albert Coe was born 17 February 1827 in Covington, Genesee County, New York, son of Ezra Coe (1796-1879) and Elizabeth Ann Sornberger (1795-1887). He married Deborah Prentice (1833-1910) on 31 December 1850 in Pavilion, Genesee County. He died 26 April 1907 in LeRoy, Genesee County.
Deborah Prentice was born 4 April 1833 in Franklindale, Bradford County, Pennsylvania, daughter of Southwick Prentice (1809-1876) and Elizabeth Ann (Betsy) Smith (1802-1846). She married Albert Coe on 31 December 1850 in Pavilion, Genesee County. She died 5 November 1910 in LeRoy.

Mary Isadore Coe was born 14 October 1851 in Pavilion. She married George W. Sperry (1853-1933) on 7 May 1879 in LeRoy. She died 4 December 1924 in Elyria, Lorain, Ohio.
George W Sperry was born 29 June 1853 in Pavilion, son of Platt T. Sperry and Rebecca Storm. He married Mary Isadore Coe on 7 May 1879 in LeRoy. He died 10 October 1833 in Elyria.
Ezra Frank Coe was born 25 December 1853 in Pavilion. He married Sarah Frances Ward (1856-1942) on 7 November 1883 in Pavilion. He died 6 January 1942 in Tampa, Hillsborough, Florida.
Sarah Frances Ward was born 6 June 1856 in Pavilion, daughter of Charles Kendall Ward and Laura Caroline Davenport. She married Ezra Frank Coe on 7 November 1883 in Pavilion. She died 7 January 1942 in Tampa.
Elizabeth Ann Coe was born 8 October 1862 in Pavilion. She married Charles Joslin Call (1859-1939) on 5 November 1884 in LeRoy. She died 3 November 1956 in Zephyrhills, Pasco, Florida.
Charles Joslin Call was born 28 March 1859 in Stafford, Genesse County, son of Robert Call and Charlotte Joslin. He married Elizabeth Ann Coe on 5 November 1884 in LeRoy. He died 12 June 1939 in Stafford.
Clara Addie Coe was born 10 November 1864 in Pavilion. She married James Daniel McEwen (1861-1901) on 29 October 1890 in LeRoy. She died 22 June 1950 in Wichita, Sedgwick, Kansas.
James Daniel McEwen was born 7 February 1861 in LeRoy, son of Donald McEwen and Hannah Heagle. He married Clara Addie Coe on 29 October 1890 in LeRoy. He died 4 August 1901 in Wichita.
Carrie Evelyn Coe was born 10 November 1864 in Pavilion. She married Frank Lincoln Walkley (1867-1961) on 21 June 1894 in LeRoy. She died on 5 August 1948 in LeRoy.
Frank Lincoln Walkley was born 9 June 1867 in Pavilion, son of Rosman L. Walkley and Maryetta Peck. He married Carrie Evelyn Coe on 21 June 1894 in LeRoy. He died 13 July 1961 in Wyoming County, New York.

Charles Albert Coe was born 15 January 1890 in Denver, Adams County, Colorado. He first married Estrealla Louise Monighan (1890-1956) on 9 April 1911 in Geneva, Monroe County, New York. He married second Elvira Arndt (1902-1988). He died 28 November 1940 in Tampa.
Laura Frances Coe was born 1 February 1901 in LeRoy. She first married Alganon Westley Boothby (1900-1980) in 1925 in Greenfield. She married second Albert Henry Wisson on 3 April 1960 in Hillsborough, Florida. She died in November 1964 in Hillsborough.
