Unidentified Woman - c 1880s - page 31 of Charles Joslin Call and Elizabeth Ann Coe's Photo Album

The twenty-sixth photograph in the album is unidentified. There is no information on the back of the photo or the album page to give any hints as to who it is a photograph of.

The style of the card - type of photograph, type of cardstock, border, etc indicate the photograph could have been taken anytime between 1870 and 1900.

The subjects hair and dress would date the photograph to the 1880s.

The photographer, Levi Sherman (1834-1901) was active in Rochester between 1875 and 1896. Between 1881 and 1888, his studio was located at 40 State Street in Rochester, the address on the back of the card.

This is the same studio, and the same style of card, that two other photographs in the album were taken at - the 1883 photographs of Sarah Frances Ward and Ezra Frank Coe.
