Photos of Alden Malvern Jones - c 1917-1918 - pages 25 & 26

I'm very lucky to have several of my grandmother Evelyn Clara Call's (1895-1962) photo albums. And perhaps even luckier that she labeled many of the photos - so I know roughly when and where they were taken, and who was in the photos.

My grandmother attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 1915-1916, and then Cornell University in Ithaca, New York from 1916-1919.

Pages 25 and 26 are a continuation of a section of the album full of photos of Alden Malvern Jones (1915-2010). Alden was the son Malvern Smith Jones (1884-1937) and Edith Alberta Call (1889-1989), my grandmother's older sister. Based on Alden's age in the photos and notes on the pages, they were taken in 1917-1918.

Alden was born on November, 17, 1915 in Batavia, Genesee County, New York. He spent his first few years in Genesee County before the family moved to Royal Oak, Michigan before 1919.

Page 25 - one photo notes that Alden was 18 months old - so about June 1917 - and he's older in some of the photos on the page that look like they were taken later in the year
